Shopping is one of those fun activities to help you get your mind off things. So today I want to talk to you about different shopping opportunities and entertainment areas for everyone’s enjoyment in Fort Collins, Colorado.
There are three main shopping centers and entertainment areas in Fort Collins where you can shop, get coffee, eat, walk around, enjoy the exteriors, etc.
#1 Front Range Village
Front Range Village is located in Southeast Fort Collins and it’s the newest development of these three. As a matter of fact, it’s only starting to get developed so we can expect it to become even bigger in the future.
Urban airpark, Super Target, Nike, a couple sushi restaurants, are some of the places you can enjoy in the Front Range Village. To be honest, this area was pretty boring a couple of years ago, but recently it has become one of the more exciting entertainment areas.
#2 Foothills Mall
The Foothills Mall is also a new development… well actually REdevelopement that has turned into a kind of an outdoor-indoor mixture mall with a variety of pad sites, exterior buildings, etc.
Some of the bigger retailers available in this center are Ross, Macy’s, H&M…
Unfortunately, at the moment this mall is as vacant as it can get and the COVID19 outbreak didn’t help. At the Foothills Mall you from eating lunch, hit the ice rink (in the winter), see a movie, and grab some drinks at a restaurant bar. It is still a fun place to be, but it just isn’t where it COULD be… YET.
#3 Downtown
As I’ve recently discussed, one of the most popular areas in Fort Collins is the Downtown area. Used as inspiration for by Walt Disney, Old Town Square is truly a magical place with a ton of energy and excitement.
Between shopping, coffee, eating, outdoor splash pads, then being able to ride your bike and catch a beer on a patio, Downtown is the perfect place to spend your afternoon. It’ll give you a unique feeling that’s hard to find in an entertainment area. It’s definitely my favorite place to spend free time!
So there you have it, top three shopping and entertainment areas in Fort Collins, Colorado. Of course, there are bigger centers and areas in Denver, but Fort Collins still has a lot to offer if you’re looking to shop or enjoy your free time.
